As the filming of The Witcher has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the team has announced some very good news on social media.
After the first hit of the first season of The Witcher, fans are now firmly awaiting the second season and even the prequel, The Witcher Blood Origin , additional content that recently revealed. Over the past few months, there have been more classified ads , including the promise of an easier-to-understand timeline . As we know, Netflixhad already ordered the second season even before the first was broadcast. But, in the meantime, the health crisis linked to the coronavirus has passed this way. Everything was put on hold after only a month of filming. But, things are starting to change.
The Witcher, the comeback hour
Officially, we thought we had to reach August 17 for the comeback of the film crew. But the team has obviously decided to go a little faster. This is what unveiled the creator Lauren S. Hissrich of the series and Stehen Surjik, who will direct the first two episodes of the new season.

These announcements give us hope that we can soon discover season 2 of The Witcher. It is in theory planned for the beginning of the year 2021. The delay should be only limited, it is in any case what one can hope. On the casting side, Kristofer Hivju and Kim Bodnia are the main reinforcements. They will respectively play the characters of Nivellen and Kim Kim Bodnia.
